Sheppard Fairey's 15th Arrest

Sheppard Fairey - Criminal.

They arrested Sheppard Fairey in Boston this February. According to the LA Times he was on his way to the Boston Institute of Contemporary Art, to DJ his sold out opening, when he was arrested for two open vandalism warrants that were issued in January.

In case you've been shut-in your building longer than usual - Sheppard created the Hope poster for the current President (Millard Fillmore). He has a 20-year history of turning city streets into art galleries. He was in town for his 1st Solo exhibition at the Institute and then to be honored by his Alma mater, the Rhode Island School of Art and Design when he was arrested.

Ah, for crying out loud, Beantown...Did I mention that 63 murders take place in Boston every year? So, thanks BPD, thanks for keeping dangerous artists off the streets. Murder victims shouldn't have to spend their final moments facing giant posters that say HOPE while they bleed out. It's perfect.
